FOLLOWING a good run of recent form, Charlotte Bacon is looking forward to competing in the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials in Yorkshire this weekend.
The eventer, from Shipton-under-Wychwood, will be riding her top horse Last Touch, owned by Lucinda Froggett from Evenlode, to compete in the prestigious U25 CCI3* competition.
She said: “Bramham has been my spring three-day event aim for Last Touch and if all goes well, he will be aimed at Burghley Horse Trials in September in what will be our CCI4* debut.”
Last year the combination finished just outside the top 20 in the CCI3* competition at the Blenheim International Horse Trials.
In her most recent competition, Bacon finished ninth in the same class at the Chatsworth International Horse Trials, defeating some of world’s leading event riders.
