TARIQE Fosu's move to Oxford United appears to be a formality.
Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer told the South London Press this morning the winger was signing for Karl Robinson's side.
Although the deal is yet to be made official, Bowyer was in no doubt.
The Addicks boss said: “I spoke to Tariqe a couple of days ago – I just wished him all the best.
“He’s going to Oxford. He knows Karl [Robinson] – I think it’s going to be a good fit for him.”
The winger, 23, had been offered new terms by Charlton, but only to ensure they got compensation.
Asked if a fee was involved for Fosu, Bowyer said: “I ain’t got a clue in that – the money side. I don’t get involved in that.
“But footballing-wise I think it is the right place for him to go.
“Karl has been interested in him a long time.”
