DIDCOT Town’s Emirates FA Cup journey came to an end after a 2-0 defeat at Yeovil Town.

Rhys Murphy gave the hosts the lead midway through the first half, converting a penalty after Adam Learoyd fouled Jordan Maguire-Drew.

Former West Ham United and Ipswich Town striker Frank Nouble made it a two-goal advantage when he broke through and chipped the ball over Leigh Bedwell just before half-time.

The Glovers, a second tier side as recently as the 2013/14 campaign, kept the Railwaymen at bay after the interval.

Jamie Heapy’s side though will pocket £1,875 for making it as far as the third qualifying round.

In Southern League Central Division, North Leigh moved up to fifth after a 2-1 win at Kempston Rovers.

An Owen Dore penalty and late Leon Morrison strike sealed the three points.

Kidlington remain 14th despite a 1-0 defeat away against Stotfold.
