OXFORD United have published seven images and a virtual flythrough of what the club’s proposed new stadium could look like.
The U’s are looking to build a new home at The Triangle, south of Kidlington Roundabout, with the club’s licence agreement at the Kassam Stadium running out in 2026.
United have plans for a 16,000-capacity stadium and complex, which is set to include a 180-bedroom hotel, restaurant, conference centre, health and wellbeing space, and community plaza.
The northern part of the building, next to the new plaza, contains plans for a range of retail spaces, including a club shop, sports bar and restaurant.

The newly released CGI pictures and video offer U’s supporters the most detail yet as to what the club’s proposed new ground could resemble.
United chief executive Tim Williams said: “With our right to use the Kassam Stadium coming to an end in 2026 and no option to renew the lease, we must find a new home.
“The club is committed to developing a proposal which is highly sustainable and community-focused, whilst providing a state of the art destination for all.
“The further detail we have released shows how seriously we take these principles, and I am delighted to share the first glimpse of our stadium with the whole of Oxfordshire.
“I hope everyone from Kidlington, the surrounding areas and across the county will come to the exhibition and take a look at the plans. We want to hear all your feedback.”
From tomorrow until October 21, the U’s will be hosting a series of exhibition boards at the Holiday Inn hotel at Peartree Roundabout, where the designs will be on show from 9am-8pm every day.
There will also be three ‘meet the project team’ days on Thursday (3pm-8pm), Saturday (9am-8pm) and October 19 (3pm-8pm). During these sessions, members from the stadium project team will be able to answer questions.
The release of the new images and virtual flythrough is the first step taken by United since the lease of land at The Triangle was approved in principle by Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet at a meeting on September 19.
The leasehold comes with several conditions, including the U’s being given planning permission from Cherwell District Council and a net zero plan being produced.
