OXFORD City are without a win in four Vanarama National League games after their 2-1 defeat away at Boreham Wood.

Tom Whelan gave the hosts the lead after just three minutes, before Tyrone Marsh doubled the advantage shortly after the half hour mark.

Reece Fleet pulled one back for the Hoops just two minutes after Marsh netted, however Ross Jenkins’ side were unable to find an equaliser.

Matt Robinson went close for the Wood, hitting the crossbar shortly after coming on as a substitute.

The result leaves City three points adrift of safety in the National League table.

Manny Maja rescued a point for Banbury United in National League North.

Noah Wadsworth gave visiting side Farsley Celtic the lead just after the hour mark, however Maja ensured the Puritans took a draw when he found the net with seven minutes to go.

Didcot Town are 11 points from safety in Southern League Premier South, after a goalless draw at home to Tiverton Town.

In Southern League Central Division, second-placed North Leigh were rocked by a 3-0 loss at Biggleswade Town.

Kidlington were beaten 2-1 at home to Biggleswade, while Thame United lost 3-1 at Kings Langley.
