JADE O’Dowda put in a solid display to claim fourth in the triathlon at the European Indoor Championships.
The Oxford City AC star, currently studying at Sheffield Hallam University, collected 2,385 points to finish just outside of the medals in Linz, Austria.
O’Dowda began with fifth place in the 60m hurdles, crossing the line in 8.92 seconds.
This was followed by another fifth place in the shot, her distance of 12.16m only 17 centimetres off her best.
O’Dowda finished with third in the long jump, after recording a distance of 5.79m with her first attempt.
The event in Linz centred on multi-event athletes and ran parallel to meetings in Vienna and Reykjavik the weekend before.
O’Dowda’s Oxford City teammate Alice Hopkins won long jump gold at the former.
