Lizzy Yarnold made a timely return to form as she finished fourth in the final race of the Skeleton World Cup season in Konigssee.
Yarnold, who will defend her Olympic title in Pyeongchang next month, produced a big second run to finish just 18 hundredths of a second away from a podium place.
Fears had grown for the 29-year-old’s form after a series of below-par performances since her only World Cup medal at the opening race of the season in Lake Placid in November.
