Sir – Initially, I was shocked by councillor Steve Hayward’s letter (Gazette, March 3), which expressed his personal opinions about Fairtrade, based on such misinformed dogma. However, on reflection, I was grateful that he so vividly and publicly expressed himself, as they help illustrate similar views that we have encountered from some of the Witney town councillors.
