Sir – While any medical staff going out to West Africa to help victims of the Ebola virus should be admired, surely they should be flown back on a separate chartered flight or separate part of the aircraft and should be quarantined before or after they fly back to Britain.

This seems a simple solution, which in the long run would save money and would safeguard both the British public and the medical staff.
