Mast work hits radio broadcast

BBC Oxford had two brief breaks in transmission yesterday due to work on a transmitter.

Work on the Beckley transmitter, just outside Oxford, by owner Arqiva caused breaks in transmission to BBC Oxford and other BBC stations.

The two interruptions, which took place between 11am and noon, lasted only a few seconds.

BBC Oxford tweeted: “Sorry about that break in transmission on 95.2FM, there’s some work being done on the transmitter.”
