MOST people visit farms and zoos during the warmer summer months, but Fairytale Farm is proving that animals are a popular attraction no matter what time of year.
Yesterday, the family farm attraction at Southcombe, near Chipping Norton, was open for business for the first time this year, having closed for the season in November.
It was a family outing for four-year-old twins Lake and Ravi Black from Bloxham, who were taken to the farm with their cousin Georgia Wright, also four, from Woodstock.
Owner Nick Laister said demand for the farm was high, even in January: “Lots of people have been turning up at the farm to find us closed.
“We have therefore decided to pilot winter openings.’’
