AN Oxfordshire charity which gives out handbags of goodies to homeless women is looking for more volunteers at Christmas.
Passionate Pink was set up by Deb Little in 2002 to deliver bags of essentials such as toiletries and sanitary products.
After suffering a stroke in 2009 the mother-of-two re-launched the charity last year and it now helps women all over the UK. It has 4,000 members on its Facebook page and is seeking more.
Mrs Little, of Charney Bassett near Wantage, said: “We want even more people to volunteer this Christmas, although it is a year-round project too.
“We need people to run branches nationwide to distribute the bags.
“Women are taking a pre-loved handbag and filling it with goodies to give to homeless women.”
