A crash took place earlier this morning that saw the air ambulance called to West Oxfordshire.
The incident took place between Enstone and Woodstock shortly before 10am. The road was closed both ways and has since re-opened.
Two cars were involved and one of them was forced off the road, with a woman taken to hospital following the incident.
It was reported to South Central Ambulance Service by a paramedic passing through the area.
Spokeswoman Michelle Archer said: "We were called at 9.45am this morning to a road traffic collision involving two cars.
"One of them had gone into an embankment. We sent an ambulance crew, the Thames Valley air ambulance and an officer.
"They assessed and treated an adult female for non-life-threatening injuries as a result. She has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by land ambulance."
Thames Valley Police spokesman James Williams said: "The road is currently blocked but we're opening to recover the vehicles soon."
