A Ford Focus driver has been fined hundreds of pounds for failing to stop at a red light.

Gabriel Dinis, of Cornish Road in Chipping Norton, appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on June 29.

The court found that one December 12 2021 Dinis drove a Ford Focus in Hillingdon on the junction of Uxbridge Road and Harlington Road and failed to comply with an indication given by a traffic signal, namely to stop at a red light.

The 40-year-old was handed a £220 fine, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £100.

His driving record was also endorsed with three penalty points.

Dinis’ actions section 36(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1988, the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
