Stagecoach West is set to hold a bus driver recruitment day specifically aimed at Ukrainian refugees.

The event, organised in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, is being held at Stagecoach West’s Bristol Depot on November 23 for roles across the county.

Drivers are paid a salary of £13.75 per hour (Monday to Friday), £14.00 per hour on Saturdays and £15.70 per hour on Sundays and are guaranteed a minimum of 38 hours per week with the opportunity to work overtime. 

Rachel Geliamassi, managing director of Stagecoach West said: “We’re delighted to be a part of this initiative which not only supports Ukrainians but could very well help us find some much-needed team members.
