AMIR HAMZA, 32, of no fixed address, was fined £75 for possession of cannabis in Oxford in January. He must pay a £30 victim surcharge.
JAMES BISSON, 34, of Ashmore Place, Oxford, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Oxford in May last year. He had previously denied two similar offences; his guilty plea to assaulting one officer was accepted and the prosecution offered no evidence in respect of the second officer. He received a community order with 50 hours of unpaid work and up to 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must pay £100 in compensation and £495 in costs and surcharge.
PAUL COFFIN, 47, of Burchester Avenue, Oxford, was found guilty of two counts of intentional racial harassment of the man in Oxford in 2021. He was ordered to pay £200 in compensation, perform 150 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and pay £300 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
WILLIAM FRANCIS-WEBB, 29, of Manor Road, Wantage, pleaded guilty to possession of 10 diazepam pills in Wantage on November 14, 2021. The substance is a class C drug if not legally prescribed. Francis-Webb, who appeared before the court on a warrant, was fined £40 and was ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
KARL GUSCHTSCHA, 31, of Plover Drive, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour with intent to cause another person to believe that unlawful violence would be used against them. He received a six month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £111 in costs and surcharge.
MARTIN O’SULLIVAN, 50, of Arnold Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using threatening words or disorderly behaviour in Oxford last August. He must pay £100 in compensation and pay £85 costs to the prosecution.
PHILLIP LYDON, 33, of Barley Hill, Culworth, pleaded guilty to burglary of a house in Albert Street, Banbury, last October. He received a community order with 150 hours of unpaid work, up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days and a 90 day alcohol abstinence and monitoring tag. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
CHARLIE WARD, 47, whose address is given on the court record as HMP Bullingdon, admitted interference with a blue Mazda CX5 in Carterton in October 2022. The charge is an offence under the 1968 Theft Act. He must pay £75 in compensation.
JONATHAN SIMPSON, 28, of Middeltown, Hailey, near Witney, admitted failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements by failing to complete his annual registration last October. He received a six month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £111 in costs and surcharge.
GABRIELA VADUVA, 27, and Ramona Vasile, 24, both of the same address in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to theft of three t-shirts, worth £710, from Valentino in Bicester Shopping Village on December 27 last year. The shoplifters were each fined £120 and ordered to pay £133 in costs and surcharge.
THOMAS HAWKINS, 22, of Bow Bank, Longworth, admitted driving a Mazda MX5 carelessly at a car meet in Oxford Parkway car park last May. No evidence was offered to support the more serious count of dangerous driving with which he was initially charged. He was fined £166, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £284 in costs and surcharge.
DAVID REID, 54, of HMP Bullingdon, admitted beating a woman in Oxford on November 19 last year. He received 50 days imprisonment and was ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge.
