The Orangery at Blenheim Palace is offering a special main meal deal.

Available from Monday to Friday, midday to 4pm excluding Bank Holidays, diners at the Orangery will be offered a £24 main course and drink deal.

It started on April 22, with visitors able to choose from fish and chips, grilled wild boar and apple sausages or mushroom pappardelle pasta - all paired with a drink.

With ingredients sourced from the palace’s own kitchen garden, the Orangery aims to showcase its homegrown produce.

Customers can also join in the celebration of what would have been Sir Winston Churchill's 150th birthday.

Visitors to Sir Winston's birthplace will have the opportunity to meet 'Winstan', a creation by Stan Streather as a tribute to the wartime leader, and enjoy the specially-themed Churchill Afternoon Tea.

The afternoon tea is served with a glass of Sir Winston’s favourite Champagne, Pol Roger.

It also includes a variety of savouries, sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats.

There will be smoked salmon, dill, lemon and nori cream cheese roll, coronation chicken and bhaji, cucumber, mint and caper, truffle egg and Blenheim asparagus tart and more.

Last year, the 18th century Orangery reopened to visitors following the completion of £2 million restoration project which saw the glass ceiling replaced with timber and slate, going back to its original design.
