Sir – For many years, I and hundreds of others in Witney and the surrounding villages have been enjoying ‘The Screen at the Square’, at the Corn Exchange, in Witney.
We have been provided with not only the most up-to-date films, but also John’s entertaining introductions and the ability to enjoy the film at half the price of Oxford cinemas.
I do not know what will become of this facility, but I for one will miss it sadly if the new cinema causes this wonderful cinema to close.
