Chipping Norton 2nd’s Sam Evans smashed a terrific 119 not out to lead his side to a seven-wicket victory against Ducklington in the OCA League's Osberton Radiators Cup final at Minster Lovell on Sunday.

On an excellent batting track, Ducklington amassed a formidable 233-7 from their 45 overs, Dan Bishop hitting 59 not out, Darren Harriss 42 and Andrew Walker 32.

But Chippy made light work of the target, easing to 234-3 as Evans’s fine knock was backed up by Dan Stafford’s 50.

In the previous day’s league action, half-centuries from Danny Harding and Richard Ingram were in vain as third-placed Chadlington fell to a five-wicket defeat at Gars-ington in Division 1.

Harding (55) and Ingram (53no) saw Chadlington to 186-5, but Garsington eased in at 188-5 as Jefter Andrews hit 61 and Craig Wharton (59no).

Charlbury moved up to fourth with a 66-run win at East & West Hendred.

Rob Knight led the way for the visitors as his 90 helped his side to 217 all out, while Martin Turnbull took 5-29.

Hendred’s reply closed at 151-9, despite 88 from Ivan Mulford.

Minster Lovell lost by 38 runs to Shrivenham in Div-ision 1 on Saturday.

Alex Kill slammed an outstanding 118 in Shrivenham’s 193 all out.

Minster were 155 all out despite Elliot Graham’s 62, Scott Valentine taking 5-23.

Stonesfield dented Farin-gdon’s Division 2 title hopes with a six-wicket away win.

Chipping Norton lost by four wickets at Watlington.

After restricting their visitors to 172-9, Watlington eased to 174-6 as Steve Strong hit 82.

In Division 3, Witney Swifts virtually ended their relegation fears with a four-run win against Fringford.

Swifts reached 189-8, Jason Seacole top-scoring with 47.

Harry Collard scored 61 in Fringford’s reply, but they were bowled out for 185.

Combe edged a thrilling home clash with Cairns Fudge by one wicket.

Fudge posted 151-9, Tom Small top-scoring with 30 and Sam Kellie taking 4-30.

Combe, led by skipper Robbie Nicholson (46), edged to 152-9.

Division 4 leaders Eyn-sham hammered Hailey by ten wickets to close in on the title.

Sam Jones was the star, taking 5-29 in Hailey’s 70 all out, before hitting 61 not out as Eynsham raced to victory.

Swinbrook failed to cope with Jamie Van Santen in an eight-wicket loss at Wolvercote.

Simon Le Good (73) had helped Swinbrook post 193-6, but Van Santen’s 101 and Stuart Tofts’ 49 led Wolver-cote to 197-2 and victory.

Richard Nash’s unbeaten century helped Charlbury 2nd to an eight-wicket home win over Garsington 2nd.

Alan Weaver (4-53) and Carla Wood (3-36) helped to dismiss the visitors for 167, before Nash hit 100 not out in Charlbury’s 169-2.

In Division 5, second-placed Kilkenny crashed to a shock seven-wicket defeat at Cassington Rescue.

Jason Penn hit 51 and James Barker 41 not out in Kilkenny’s 138 all out, before James Righetti scored 75 not out in Cassington’s 141-3.

West Witney ran out 24-run winners at Marcham.

Saurabh Mehrotra hit 62 and Mark Spolander 52 as West Witney posted 213-7.

Marcham were all out for 189, Patrick Smith taking 4-33.

Brothers Matt and Charlie Waite shone for Stanton Harcourt in a 95-run win at Uffington.

Charlie took 4-8 in 8.3 overs and Matt 3-34 as Uffington were shot out for 103 in reply to Stanton’s 198-9, for whom Ollie Pascoe scored 67.
