Charlbury lead the OCA League Division 1 table after they successfully chased down Oxenford’s 181-6 to make it two wins from two starts.
Skipper Josh Hornsby and opener Ajit Shah were unbeaten on 43 and 48 respectively while teammate, Ben Geeson-Brown, had an especially good day, following up his 4-30 with 41 runs in the seven-wicket win.

Chadlington went down to a narrow 18-run defeat at Cowley Inter-nationals who broke their duck.
Having joint top-scored with 30 in his side’s 139 all out, Ayaz Khan then grabbed 5-35 as the visitors were bundled out for 121.
Freddie Simon shone for Chad, making 66 not out and taking 3-39, but his team have now lost both of their opening fixtures.

In the only other Division 1 game to survive the rain, Minster Lovell defeated Hook Norton by three wickets.
Jack Simpson was the star of the show as he added 31 in his side’s successful run chase to the 4-22 he took earlier when Hook Norton were all out for 96.

Stonesfield maintained their excellent start in Division 2 with victory over Chipping Norton.
Ryan Allen was out for 49 as Stonesfield outfit racked up 167-5. Ed Oakley then got to work, taking 6-20 as the hosts were skittled for 53.

Combe got the better of East & West Hendred in a tense affair.
Jon Francis’s top-scored with 62 as Hendred posted 170-9, but it wasn’t quite enough as Julian Chaundy’s 53 not out, following up his earlier 3-41, saw his side home with nine balls left.

Witney Swifts went down to a home defeat against Division 3 leaders Wantage.
After Wantage racked up 210-7 in just 25 overs, Colin Mercer and Barry Martin each contributing 52, Swifts were restricted to 145-4.

Swinbrook crashed to a 157-run defeat against Division 4 pacesetters Wootton and Boars Hill.
Martin Shepherd hit 131 not out as Wootton amassed 282-5.
Damian Wiskin made 83 before embarking on a spell of 5-12 which saw Swinbrook crumble to 125 in reply.

In Division 5, Darren Gordon plundered the Dorchester attack for 96 in Kilkenny’s 262-5.
Steve McComb stroked 61, but Dorchester fell short at 171-4.

Andy Bain hit 91 as Eynsham 2nd reached 185-7 in Division 9.
James Talbot (5-3) helped skittle Chesterton for 50.

Way from league action, Darren Gordon’s 95 helped Kilkenny overhaul Shrivenham 2nd’s 160-5 in the Steve Dixon Cup preliminary round.
Bob Godwin (3-40) and Alfie Saunders (3-23) saw Wolvercote fall to 99 all out as Witney Swifts reach the first round of the Telegraph Cup after they had set 191.
Chipping Norton lost by eight runs to Oxenford (113-9) in the Airey Cup preliminary round.
