A JAY Johnson strike was in vain as Yarnton went down to a 3-1 defeat at home to Marston Saints Res in Division 1 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.
The visitors had a two-goal lead into the break, courtesy of efforts from Kieran Johnson and Ryan Smith.
