Woodstock Harriers’ Rachel Masser was fourth in the ladies’ race in the third round of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League at Culham on Sunday.
She completed the course in 26mins 29secs, with Witney Road Runners’ Frankie Snare fifth in 26.50 in the race won by Oxford City’s Melissa Hawtin (25.48).
James Bolton, from Woodstock Harriers, was 15th in the men’s race, the vet 40 crossing the line in 32.47. Oxford City’s David Bruce was first in 30.29.
Meanwhile, Mark Tyrell, second claim Eynsham Roadrunners, won the Gutbuster ten-mile off-road race in Mortimer, Berks in 1hr 2mins 34secs.
