Benedict Pollard took third place at Sunday’s Hooky Christmas Canter.
The Vet 40 Eynsham Road Runner finished 20 seconds behind winner Paul Jegou, of White Horse Harriers, across the unmeasured multi-terrain hilly Cotswold course.
Dave Cantwell, of Woodstock Harriers, was second Vet 40 in 11th, while clubmate Bryan Vaughan took the Vet 60 honours in 35th.
Eynsham’s Hannah Hale was the second woman home and 26th overall.
Woodstock’s Denise Bridges (Vet 45), Jacky Pinnock, of Eynsham, (Vet 55) and teammate Kate Williamson (Vet 65) won their respective age groups.
