MINSTER Lovell set up an OCA Airey Cup final showdown with Shrivenham after seeing off visitors Oxenford by 32 runs in Sunday’s semi-final.

Batting first, Brian Barrett (37) and Dave Prosper (30) helped Minster to 174-9, Habeel Khalid taking 4-48.

All-rounder Barrett then returned 4-24 and Leigh Smith 3-45 as Oxenford were bowled out for 142.

Man- of-the-match Waqas Ali slammed 85 not out as Yarnton and Cowley 3rd beat Witney Swifts 2nd by 80 runs in the Osberton Radiators Cup final.

Ali and Ace Hussain (40) took Yarnton to 194-6, before Swifts replied with 114, James O’Sullivan top-scoring with 47. Kurshid Khan took 5-35 and Hussain 3-36

On Saturday, Minster kept their Division 1 title challenge on track with nine-wicket win at home to bottom club Chipping Norton after

Leigh Smith (4-27) and Eddie Dunn (3-16) dismissed them for 67.

Charlbury suffered asAdam Tucker smashed 141 and Conor Taylor 54 to help Shrivenham to a 71-run win

In Division 2, Witney Swifts recorded a six-wicket win at Broughton & North Newington in their battle against the drop.

After restricting the home side to 181-8, Kieran Foggett hit 64 and Jason Seacole 54 not out to lead Swifts home.

Wootton & Boars Hill proved far too strong for visitors Chadlington as they won by 160 runs.

Ben Tew (94) led Wootton to 272-6, before Billy Webb claimed 5-24 as Chadlington were shot out for 112.

In Division 3, Eynsham ran out 44-run victors against visitors Kidlington to leapfrog them to the top.

Sam Jones top-scored with 51 in Eynsham’s 187 all out. Sam Rodway (64no) led Kidlington’s reply, but 4-24 from Mark Weller and 4-45 from Sam Hollingshead helped to dismiss them for 143.

Kashif Hafeez claimed 7-35 in Kilkenny’s 64-run win at Marcham.

Kilkenny posted 209 all out, Stuart Armstrong taking 5-23.

Tristan Barrett scored 53 in Marcham’s reply, but they fell to 145 to Hafeez.

Hanborough thrashed visitors Stanton Harcourt by 134 runs.

Marc Buckingham (87) led Hanborough to 260-7, before Stanton slumped to 126 all out.

In Division 4, second-placed Swinbrook edged home by two wickets against Minster Lovell 2nd.

Andrew Wingfield Digby claimed 5-18 as Minster were bowled out for 144, before the home side edged home at 145-8.

Bampton’s Division 5 title bid stayed on track as they hammered hosts Kennington by 111 runs.

James Bray led the way for Bampton with 101 not out in their 231.

A fine 65 from Sam Walker and 51 from Dave Burgess saw Hanborough 2nd to a 41-run win at Minster Lovell 3rd in Division 7.

Eynsham 2nd eased to an 87-run victory at Sunningwell 2nd in Division 8.

Glenn Edwards top-scored with 46 in Eynsham’s 233-6. Sunningwell were then dismissed for 146, Stephen Cooper taking 3-36.

Brother’s Ryan and Callum Dadge starred for Swinbrook 2nd in their six-wicket win at Kidlington 3rd in Division 9.

Ryan Dadge took 4-36 and Callum 3-30 in Kidlington’s 113 all out, Kevin Salway also claiming 3-6.

Swinbrook then eased home at 116-4 to seal victory.
