TOWER Hill FC have been recognised for their work in the community with an FA Charter Standard Community Club Award.
Representatives of the club were presented with an FA plaque and certificate at the Oxfordshire FA in Witney.
By being honoured for their advanced level of club development and football provision, Tower Hill have been recognised by the FA as being among the top ten per cent of community clubs in the country.
Sarah Wood, the OFA’s football development manager, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and we’re extremely proud to have worked with them to support them to achieve this award.”
Tower Hill chairman Liam Walsh added: “Everyone at the club should be recognised for their efforts.
“Whether it’s my fellow committee members, coaches, parents and supporters, sponsors and most importantly, the players, we’ve developed a club that the Witney community can be proud of.”
