Jordan Albert came within seven points of ending his debut season in BRDC Formula 4 with a top-ten championship place during a challenging weekend at Snetterton.
Albert, 17, from the Chipping Norton-based SWR Caterham F1 Driver Development Programme Team, failed to finish in the first race on Saturday, but was 15th and 13th in Sunday’s two encounters with the combined results seeing him finish 11th.
Teammate Diego Borrelli, also had to recover from a frustrating race one retirement after being hit from behind by Rodrigo Fonseca.
But he produced a strong showing in both Sunday’s races as he secured a brace of hard-fought 14th places to finish his maiden season 16th .
