North Leigh came from two goals down to earn a point in a 2-2 draw against struggling Fleet Town in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.
The Millers dominated possesion in a one-sided first half, but found themselves trailing 2-0 at the break.
Jamie Cook, Aaron Woodley, Callum McNish and Kieran Sanders all had chances before North Leigh fell behind in the 21st minute.
Craig Martin swung over a cross and Ben White headed past keeper Matt Bulman.
The hosts were then awarded a penalty when Dan Rousell brought down Woodley, but Cook’s well-struck spot-kick smashed against the bar and was cleared.
Five minutes later in first-half injury time, Simba Mla-mbo headed in a Martin cross.
North Leigh pulled a goal back two minutes into the second half, when McNish clipped the ball home from five yards after good work by substitute Morgan Williams.
A minute later, the Millers were level as Sanders headed home Michael Hopkins’s left-wing cross at the far post.
But North Leigh were unable to add to their tally.
And they could have lost the match late on with Mlambo hitting a post from two yards, before failing to score with only Bulman to beat.
