Chipping Norton trainer Charlie Longsdon’s run of success continued when Sergeant Mattie landed a beginners chase from the fast-finishing Romeo Americao at Uttoxeter with Aidan Coleman in the saddle on Sunday.
It took his list of winners to 20 for the season.
Two days earlier, Coleman rode Glowinginthedark to victory in a maiden hurdle at Fontwell.
Last Thursday, Longsdon landed a short-priced across-the-card treble.
Kilfinichen Bay (1-5) completed a four-timer in the hands of Charlie Deutsch, and Germany Calling (1-4), ridden by Noel Fehily, gave him a double at Southwell.
In between, Java Rose (4-9) landed a maiden hurdle at Warwick, with Coleman again in the saddle.
