Witney’s men suffered two narrow defeats in a South League double-header.
On Saturday, they lost 2-1 at home to Amersham and Chalfont in Middlesex Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1.
Their goal came from Jacob Deacon after unselfish play from Rory Heaslip.
Then the next day, Witney battled hard but lost 3-2 at home to second-placed Tring, Thomas Dobson and Heaslip finding the net.
