MAX Crocombe has been selected for the New Zealand squad for the OFC Under 20 Championship in Fiji next month.
The 19-year-old was included in a group of 26 players last month and he is one of two goalkeepers in the final 20-man squad.
Crocombe, who made his first team debut for United against Burton Albion last month, was thrilled to get a Junior All Whites call-up.
He said: "It's brilliant news.
"It's the next step on the ladder and I know I've still got a long way to go to get to where I want to be, but this means a lot to me."
The winners of the tournament, held on March 21-29, will go on to the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey this summer.
Crocombe will miss several United games, so Wayne Brown will come into the squad as back-up for Luke McCormick.
