A SHOULDER injury to Simon Eastwood has prompted Oxford United to recall Jack Stevens from his loan at Oxford City.
Both goalkeepers produced man-of-the-match displays at the weekend.
United report Eastwood, who was yesterday linked with a move to Barnsley, is suffering from inflamed tendons.
It will see him miss tonight's Checkatrade Trophy tie at Charlton Athletic - only the second game he has missed since the start of last season.
Scott Shearer will fill in, but with no other goalkeeping cover the U's have cut short Stevens' loan at City.
The 20-year-old, who starred in their 2-1 win at Hungerford Town on Saturday, was due to play against Havant & Waterlooville in Vanarama National League South tonight.
