LONDON Welsh hooker Andy Titterrell has announced his retirement from rugby with immediate effect due to a neck injury.
Titterrell, 33, who joined Welsh at the beginning of the 2013-14 season from Edinburgh, has been forced to retire on medical advice.
The former England and British & Lions player last appeared for Welsh at home to Bristiol on November 10.
